WPA-PSK & WPA2-PSK Security Modes

Both “WPA-PSK” and “WPA2-PSK” require that you select advanced encryption

methods — i.e., TKIP or AES — and enter a set of keys.

TKIP: Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) changes the temporal key every

10,000 packets, ensuring much greater security than standard WEP security.

AES: Developed to ensure the highest degree of security and authenticity for

digital information, this is the most advanced solution dened by IEEE 802.11i

for security in a wireless network.

Key: Enter 8 to 63 digits in ASCII format as the authentication key within the network.

When you nish conguring the wireless security, click “Next.”
